I was told to find a person to do a Black History report on, and I chose Drink Small. Before, I had no clue who in the world he was, but now all I want to do is see The Blues Doctor perform! His songs are amazing, and I enjoy listening to it.

Mr. Drink Small - I was in Chicago on 9 June of this year to witness your wonderful set at the Bayou Stage. May God bless you, sir, for sharing your blues and your endearing sense of humor with all of your fans. I've followed your music for many years, having first heard you live down in SC some years ago. It was a joy and let me say (as I told you and your lady at the CBF), that you are still a joy and a national treasure. I was so pleased to see you still playing well and so full of life. If your were to remember, I was the photographer from VA that spoke with you after the show and promised to send digital shots from the CBF show to your website. I'd be honored to do so if there is a way to contact you by e-mail, or I'll send a few to your home address. If you have a webmaster, please have him contact me. We are greatly enjoying your CD that you signed for me and I really look forward to sending the picture of you and your lady that I took after we talked. Best regards - live long and keep on playing your blues, Bob O'Neal (Suffolk, VA)

Do you remember playing at our party shack we called "The Chateau" off of Leesburg Road? Congratulations on your success in the music business. You've certainly earned the recognition you have received, and I suspect there will be more to come. Love ya! God speed!!!
